I’m in big trouble.\u00a0\u00a0 Its easy for me to admit my\u00a0faults because I do identify with the side of ourselves that really mess up.\u00a0 It’s where we learn the most, wouldnt you agree?<\/p>\n
Chloe overheard me tell some fundrasing people tonight\u00a0that I had a sick daughter.\u00a0 Ok, I acutally said , “A very sick daughter”.\u00a0 My bad, my bad.\u00a0 I was still thinking about the weekend as she was VERY sick.\u00a0 Absolutely, I was\u00a0Not thinking about the tumor.\u00a0 But she was all over my case like flies\u00a0in fresh pancake batter. The next several minutes were spent explaining myself to my nine year old.\u00a0 She isnt an easy sell.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, there are several organizations I do support. The one who knocked at my door tonight isnt on the list.\u00a0 Doesn’t mean its not important, its just on someone else’s list, not mine.\u00a0 In hindsight my quick tongue got me out of mischief and INTO the fire(with Chloe…ack!!)<\/p>\n
The odd thing my usual mantra is “This year she is well, its LAST year she was sick”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The update is she is looking wonderful, playing joyful artful watergames in the front yard this evening(she soaked herself), giggled like crazy, ate dinner and a good amount, fought with Colin a small amount and shared with me her homework, a letter with guts and feeling and hope about how her little dragon, Firebolt, makes a difference in her life.<\/p>\n
She read her website guestbook tonight. Another Chloe Watts sent her encouragement.\u00a0 Someone who had cancer as a five year old.\u00a0 Someone who told OUR Chloe “expect a miricle”.\u00a0 One just smiles as the village reach’s out.<\/p>\n
Also heard from our former choir teacher who knows how to bring community together.\u00a0 We read it all.\u00a0 We thank you.<\/p>\n
It matters.\u00a0 It all matters.\u00a0 Chloes life .\u00a0 All life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
