Here\u2019s a follow-up on Saturday with Dave Ramsey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The way this all came about was interesting.\u00a0 <\/span>Since I sold enough tickets for the event, Dana and I were upgraded to VIP seating.\u00a0 <\/span>Knowing how much she wanted to be able to speak with Dave, I asked my contact person, Tammy Kornberg, if I could trade the two VIP tickets for one Platinum ticket for Dana.\u00a0 <\/span>That would get her in to the pre-event dinner and meeting with Dave.\u00a0 <\/span>Tammy asked if she was that big of a D.R. fan, to which I said, \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t believe it.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Here\u2019s where some misunderstanding occurred.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Tammy, thinking I meant \u2018Chloe, not Dana,\u2019 called back and said she spoke with Dave and he wanted to meet the Three of us backstage during the break.\u00a0 <\/span>Chloe wasn\u2019t even going at this point but I said yes for her.\u00a0 <\/span>When we asked if she\u2019d like the chance to meet Dave Ramsey it was all over.\u00a0 <\/span>We couldn\u2019t back out then!\u00a0 <\/span>\u2018Giddy as a schoolgirl\u2019 is a phrase I probably didn\u2019t really understand before seeing her reaction.\u00a0 <\/span>So I bought a single VIP ticket and our plans were set.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n During the first part of the event Chloe couldn\u2019t sit still.\u00a0 <\/span>She was laughing and very focused on the talk at hand.\u00a0 <\/span>If you haven\u2019t seen Dave\u2019s live event you have to imagine Robin Williams on Sugar.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Then the break came and so did a couple of Dana\u2019s friends\u2026 to talk.\u00a0 <\/span>Well, we were supposed to meet Tammy some ten minutes after the break.\u00a0 <\/span>This would give Dave some time to himself.\u00a0 <\/span>While Dana talked to her friends I watched my watch and Chloe danced around, even though she and Dana had taken a quick trip to the restroom a few minutes earlier.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Tammy showed up so I dragged the two of them off.\u00a0 <\/span>Just like some important people, Tammy brought us past the guards and railings to the backstage area.\u00a0 <\/span>Too bad it was a little dark but it was going to work just fine.\u00a0 <\/span>Heather, Dave\u2019s direct assistant, gave us our directions and we waited for HIM to show up.\u00a0 <\/span>Chloe jumped around and was as excited as she could get.\u00a0 <\/span>Tammy was a fine hostess as we waited.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Finally the door opened and out came Dave, with a shopping bag in his hand.\u00a0 <\/span>He went straight to Chloe, stooped down and introduced himself.\u00a0 <\/span>He gave her the bag and said, \u201cThis is something we\u2019d like for you to have.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>It was a complete Junior Financial Peace University Kit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The two them were focused directly on each other in a very special meeting.\u00a0 <\/span>After a few minutes Dave stood and introduced himself to Dana and me.\u00a0 <\/span>Dana was able to give him her special thanks for the Financial Peace University.\u00a0 <\/span>Without her getting her finances in line, she would not have been able to spend the time with Chloe at the hospital, without completely destroying herself financially.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n After a couple autographs, and a hug for Chloe, he was off to return to the stage and we were escorted back to our seats like royalty.\u00a0 <\/span>Dave Ramsey has our highest respect.\u00a0 <\/span>This is something that will stick with Chloe the rest of her life.\u00a0 <\/span>And, although she likes to say she shook the hand of a ten millionaire, I believe it is Dave who shook the hand of, a future,
