She is healed. She will live to be an old woman.\u00a0 This is the mother\u2019s wish.\u00a0 <\/span>Chloe may be on the Make a Wish list but Mama is allowed wishes as well.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today after a few weeks of a rough run with Chloe’s health, we were handed a box, a box with colorful hearts aplenty.\u00a0 Thank you postmaster, Thank you wish master (Kari).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The box held this: A Certificate saying this:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations Chloe!\u00a0 Your wish will come true!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chloe\u2019s wish to meet President Barack Obama will be granted:\u00a0 A 4-day, 3-night trip to DC!\u00a0 The date of this wish is still to be determined….\u201dbe patient, President Obama is a busy man!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It also held a t-shirt saying: Obama kid, plus about 6 buttons, a Calendar of Barack’s Wisdom and Chloe wasted no time to put it all on!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But hold on World…..She has a letter of her own to give to him.\u00a0 It\u2019s all about Healthcare.\u00a0\u00a0 Stay tuned.\u00a0 I’ll publish that at a later time.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For now she has had a decent run of days with no sickness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And for the record, Colin will turn 14 on Sunday(fathers day) and appropriately, we are having the birthday party for him as we promised him last year.\u00a0 Slumber party (no sleep) with his buddies, Laserport, Pizza and a New Beginning.\u00a0 Colin, from me, for the record, thank you for being YOU, for being so incredibly patient this year.\u00a0 One year ago we didn\u2019t even see you as you turned from\u00a0 a 12 year old into your teen years, and still, you had “a good birthday” as you remember, even though it wasn\u2019t the one you planned.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this moment I share publicly what he asked of me in the children\u2019s garden\u00a0one day…….just Colin and me…having pizza at Emanuel Hospital.\u00a0 I made a promise that, for him, I would be there.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow night we celebrate his friends, his love of life, and his tedious awareness of that day a year ago.\u00a0 “What if all this doesn\u2019t work?” he asked me.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Colin,\u00a0I will be there for you then.\u00a0 I won’t lose myself in grief as I’ve seen others do.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A year later, we are healed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We send loving thought you are healed too.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
