It\u2019s been a whole day without seeing Chloe.\u00a0 <\/span>I can\u2019t believe it!\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019ve not felt this comfortable about being away from her for quite some time now.\u00a0 <\/span>She has done so well since Sunday that no one can believe the turn around.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ll take it!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today she was pretty frisky, shooting Dana with water filled syringes as she came in the room.\u00a0 <\/span>She and Colin were having brother sister fun today too.\u00a0 <\/span>At one point in the day Colin was dancing around the living room singing Christmas songs.\u00a0 <\/span>Those are his favorite July songs.\u00a0 <\/span>Dana asked him what he was doing and he said, \u201cI\u2019m being random.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Obviously he is happy to have Chloe home again.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chloe was a Happy, Hungry Camper today.\u00a0 <\/span>She sat down to three meals and did a pretty good job on all three.\u00a0 <\/span>She is almost up to the full nutrition via her tube feeds and then she\u2019s adding By Mouth foods as well.\u00a0 <\/span>This is a very good thing.\u00a0 <\/span>Although she is still way off the weight charts we are moving in the right direction.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The IV nurse came in today to change the PIC line bandages and clean everything up.\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s not Chloe\u2019s favorite visit as it stings enough to make her wince.\u00a0 <\/span>But we all know it is very necessary.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dana was able to get away today for a friends visit, the first since May.\u00a0 <\/span>She had a great visit with one of her after eight ladies, Jen.\u00a0 Then Chloe had her alone time also.\u00a0 <\/span>She was able to sit on the hammock alone and read some of her get well cards and just veg out.\u00a0 <\/span>Next up we will get her fitted into the backpack that holds the pump and feeds.\u00a0 <\/span>She will be completely mobile then.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When I called tonight she was on Lee\u2019s lap getting a backrub.\u00a0 <\/span>I do believe she\u2019s figured out how to wrap everyone around her finger.\u00a0 <\/span>So be it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow\u2019s plan is to have Lee, Colin and Chloe go to Dave and Ramona\u2019s house until Tuesday.\u00a0 <\/span>We are certainly hoping this will go well.\u00a0 <\/span>Chloe is a little sad that she will be seeing her Bearded Dragon from across the room and can\u2019t hold him.\u00a0 <\/span>Those are Doctor\u2019s orders.\u00a0 <\/span>Apparently reptiles and exotic pets carry different germs that we sickly humans can\u2019t fight off.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

While there Lee is Head Nurse.\u00a0 <\/span>We are down to only three times a day for meds and once a day to change the bag of feeds.\u00a0 <\/span>She feels comfortable with that schedule.\u00a0 <\/span>Last week\u2019s was just too crazy.\u00a0 <\/span>The only thing I\u2019m wondering is how Dana will do not seeing Chloe all day, every day.\u00a0 <\/span>I know we will be going over there but it\u2019s not the same as staying with her.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wonderful Heather came through for us with an air conditioner.\u00a0 <\/span>She even sent her handyman over to install it for Dana.\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s perfect!!!\u00a0 <\/span>The room is comfortable once again so if they do end up coming back over the weekend everything will be ready.\u00a0 <\/span>I guess the other house doesn\u2019t have air.\u00a0 <\/span>I didn\u2019t know that.\u00a0 <\/span>Let\u2019s hope it doesn\u2019t really get to 90 degrees.\u00a0 <\/span>Thank you Heather, Jody and Al.\u00a0 <\/span>You\u2019re the best!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Did you all see Jeremy\u2019s work of art?\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s on the top of the Pictures page.\u00a0 <\/span>Click on the link and you will see one of the most amazing musical picture shows you\u2019ve ever seen.\u00a0 <\/span>To top it off Jeremy picked Dana and Chloe\u2019s favorite song, right out of the air.\u00a0 <\/span>I guess we are all pretty well connected.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure what the consensus of opinion is about the difference from Saturday to today.\u00a0 <\/span>My opinion is that Prayer Works.\u00a0 <\/span>I do believe that the intensity of prayers that went on after my blog that Saturday night was immense.\u00a0 <\/span>I also believe in Chloe\u2019s power.\u00a0 <\/span>She is very in tune with her Spirituality and I\u2019m sure she received the whisper.\u00a0 <\/span>Then she took full advantage of the invitation to rejoin us.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
